Bantam Soccer

The bantam girls soccer squad gave it their best against a very strong BC team but came up on the short end of a 4-1 score.

The girls said they loved the experience and are very proud to bring a silver medal back to Kahnawake.

Trevor Lazare - Shot 230 (77, 73, 77) for Bronze in Midget.
Mack Kirby - Shot 240 (77, 84, 79) for 6th in Senior.
Jamie Lazare - Shot 236 (77, 81, 78) for 6th in Juvenile.
Kahsennenhawi Kirby - Shot 311 (95, 110, 106) for 8th in Senior Women.

Juvenile Lacrosse

Team Eastern Door takes gold in Juvenile lacrosse, beating Ontario 7-3, led by Kyle Alfred's 3 goals.

Midget Lacrosse

Team Eastern Door easily took the bronze over Manitoba.

Another stellar day for our swimmers at the Cowichan Aquatic Center - 5 gold and 2 silver.

Sherry Diabo brings home gold in senior women singles with 8 wins 1 loss. Larry Jacobs took silver in senior mens singles with 7 wins 2 losses.

Sherry Diabo and Larry Jacobs get silver in mixed doubles with 4 wins 3 losses.

Chris Diabo advances to the quarter finals in juvenile men singles division with 2 wins 1 loss.

Chris Diabo and Shotehra Rice in juvenile mens doubles win 1 and lose 1. If they win tomorrow they advance to the quarter finals.

Golf

Trevor Lazare win Gold in Midget Boys. His brother Jamie Lazare got a hole in one on the 6th hole. Mack Kirby places in the Top 6.

Bantam Girls Soccer (U-14)

The U-14 soccer team won 1-0 to advance to the gold medal game Saturday (9:30) vs BC
Iakothahonni Delormier was the lone scorer.

Midget Girls Soccer(U-16)

The U-16 soccer team lost 3-2 to Saskatchewan and now need BC to lose in order to contend for Gold. If BC wins, they play for bronze.

Juvenile Lacrosse

Team Eastern Door beat British Columbia 20-3 and play for gold Friday vs Ontario.

Midget Lacrosse

Team Eastern Door beat Saskatchewan 17-1 to finish first in their division, but lost their semi-final to Ontario 7-5 and will play for bronze.

Team Eastern Door defeated Team BC with a score of 20-3.

If Team NY wins over Ontario, Team Eastern Door will be out of medal contention. However, if Ontario ties or wins, Team Eastern Door will face off with Ontario for the gold.

This win over Team BC gives them a shot at gold.

The Team won a Bronze Medal.

Team Eastern Door (1 Run) Vs.Wisconsin (12 Runs).

Juvenile Lacrosse

Team Eastern Door beat NY 9-7.

Midget Lacrosse

Team Eastern Door won their second game 7-4 over Team New York.

Togo Goodleaf (2), A'nase Horn, Jacoby Thompson, Boose Jacobs, Kanatase Marquis and Nick Angus scored the goals. Kanathason David got the win in goal.

This almost guarantees Team Eastern Door a spot in the medal round. They have one more vs Saskatchewan, who is 0-2 and has only scored 2 goals.

Bantam Girls Soccer

The girls beat Alberta 8-1 improving their record to 1-1.

Midget Girls Soccer

The midget girls team played to a hard fought 2-2 tie against the North West Territories.

Midget Girls Soccer

Team Eastern Door kept the majority of game play in the Team Alberta zone and went on to a decisive 15 - 0 win.

Team Kahnawake wins back the NAIG Todd Diabo Memorial Trophy. It's been 11 years since Team Kahnawake won.

"We're bringing Todd back home," said Head Coach Peter Montour.

10 medals again for canoeing, for a total of 23 in two days. They are ripping up the water.

Juvenile Lacrosse

Team Eastern Door took a hard fought loss to Ontario in the late game of the day. Trailing 6 - 4 with less a minute to go in the third, ED scores with 49 seconds left on the clock to make it 6 - 5.

However, a time out at the 18.5 second mark and a few close moments in front of Ontario's net weren't enough to seal the deal.

The final score, Ontario 6, Eastern Door 5.

Bantam Girls Soccer

Team Kahnawake came up against a powerhouse BC team in their first match up at the games.

Great goaltending in the first half kept our girls in the game while the fielders found their rhythm.

By the end of the first half, play was moving on boths ends of the field and a great game ensued. None the less, by game's end, a well seasoned BC squad proved to be too much on this day. Final score, 7 - 1, BC.

Juvenile Softball

Juvenile softball lost 18-1 to Arizona. If there's any good news, the 'zona coach said that Team Eastern Door was the first team to score a run on them in 8 games.

Box Lacrosse

Team Eastern Door won 16-8 over Manitoba in their first preliminary game.

Jacoby thompson had 4 goals and 3 assists, while Togo Goodleaf (3g), Katsi McComber (2g, 2a) and Nick Angus (2g, 2a) all had solid offensive games. Owen Mayo got the winning goal.

POOL A (ED, BC, ONT) will play all of POOL B (Sask, Man, NY) in the preliminaries with the TOP 2 from each pool moving on.

"As the tournament moves along, we will get even stronger," said Coach Spencer Stacey.
